Paul Lisnek, J.D., Ph.D: CEO

Mr. Paul M. Lisnek, is a Co-Founder and CEO of Decision Analysis. He served two terms as president of the American Society of Trial Consultants, has served on the faculty of NITA, and served as a commissioner and inquiry panel chairperson of the Illinois Attorney Disciplinary Commission, an Illinois Supreme Court appointment for 25 years. He has several years of experience as a practicing lawyer, an arbitrator and mediator.
In addition to his casework, Paul currently anchors “Politics Tonight” on CLTV and serves as the political analyst for WGN-TV in Chicago. He also hosts“Newsmakers” on HLN, “Political Update,” and “Broadway in Chicago Backstage” for the Comcast Network. The Museum of Broadcast Communication in Chicago recently opened the Paul M Lisnek Gallery which honors Paul’s career in TV.
Paul has served as a legal, political and ethics expert for NBC News, MSNBC, CNBC, CNN, ABC, FOX, WGN, MTV,CTV (Canada’s leading national network). He has been featured on numerous national television shows, including “The Today Show,” “NBC Nightly News,” and “Anderson Cooper 360.” He is also a legal expert for numerous radio stations around the country and Canada.
Formerly an assistant dean and lecturer in law at Loyola Law School in Chicago, Dr. Lisnek has taught at the University of Illinois, DePaul University and Pepperdine University School of Law’s Institute for Dispute Resolution.
Paul has authored several articles and 13 books, including The Hidden Jury and Other Secret Tactics Lawyers Use to Win; Courtroom Power; Depositions (now in its 3rd ed.); negotiating Power, and Art of Lawyering, among others. He holds a law degree and Ph.D. both from the University of Illinois.
